MARK has sited and understands the social responsibility of maintaining high standards of a Healthy and Safe environment. MARK is committed to following all of the HSE Guidelines to manage any project effectively. Below mentioned is a review of the HSE guidelines:
- Every driver, will hold a valid registration for their vehicle, with a valid driver’s license and ID card for all transportations.
- MARK will provide the drivers and its representative on-site with, and enforce suiting with, Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) within the client’s premises and the SIPC area, inclusive of uniform, safety helmet, safety shoes, reflective vests and goggles.
- Trucks deployed for cargo transportation will be fit for operations, 2Axle or 3Axle vehicles which will safely bare the stated cargo weight, and will follow all required safety materials such as beacon lights, bracing bars, Fire and Safety Hazard and Fire Fighting equipment, spark arrester on muffler, personal safety equipment, tarpaulin, ABS system, reflective strips and functioning lights and accessories. Each vehicle will be customized to the required height range of 1.4-1.5 meters.
- All MARK staff and representatives will attend the HSE Induction and follow all client’s rules and regulations.
- All MARK drivers will follow ROP road rules and regulations in and outside the Port area.
- MARK will provide each driver a copy of a training handbook, and train each of their staff and representatives about the job process and related hazards.
